What qualification levels does LinguaVille reach?
LinguaVille begins its language process from the very first steps of learning a language through to exams held at 16 and 18 years old –and beyond.
Our Standard Level is what most people learn at ‘school’.
Our Intermediate Level is what most people learn at ‘college’ or 'sixth form'
Our other levels provide an introduction to the social and professional business terminology required outside of a school environment, to enable the student to eventually become fluent.
Is this a Qualification?
LinguaVille provides its own unique certification process by providing virtual certificates, medals and trophies, which progress through to awards for the completion of a range of work and tests.
All of our certificates can be printed out and built up to show your progress through the LinguaVille village. Our certificates prove the work that you have completed and provide a visual way to show the development of your key skills as you progress through the various levels within LinguaVille.
LinguaVille’s Coursework is line with National Curricula from around the world. The Standard Level maps onto the ‘school’ work and exams taken around 16 years of age. The Intermediate Level is focused towards college (or ‘6th Form’) work and studies completed around the age of 18.
What is bi-directional within LinguaVille?
Located in LinguaVille’s Library, we have two bi-directional dictionaries and a Verbs Aid – all three of which are bi-directional, meaning that they work in two ways between your home language to your target language, and multi-directional depending upon how many languages you are learning.
LinguaVille immerses you in the language you wish to learn, but bi-directional tasks really help with becoming bi-lingual. Therefore we have the Dictation Module in our School Building’s Standard, Intermediate and Advanced Levels – along with our Aural and Translation modules that are located within our Travel Centre building, through which you can listen to and reply in either of your languages.
Will I be able to converse with ‘the locals’?
One of LinguaVille’s primary focuses is that of bilingualism. Through exercises learned in our School Building through to conversational studies located in our Travel Centre our aim is to ensure that you converse naturally to a person speaking your chosen language.
LinguaVille is structured as to be totally flexible to suit your language learning requirements, and although our emphasis is on National Curricula structured learning, if all you want to do is learn some quick phrases, we can help there too. However, should you wish to be extra confident in your bilingualism then consider making the most out of LinguaVille – we’re here to help you be totally confident.
Am I able to hear what I’m trying to learn?
Every single letter, word, phrase, sentence and paragraph is accompanied by sound, spoken by Mother-Tongue speakers to ensure you learn to pronounce your chosen language correctly.
Besides providing the sound, we also enable you to record your own voice and play this back to compare with our original recording.
Do I get any rewards?
Here at LinguaVille we wish to encourage you every step of the way. We offer certificates for the completion of any module, medal-certificates for levels of work and cup-certificates for levels completed in any of our buildings that provide exercises and tests.
These certificates can be printed out at any time, for your own reward to to prove to teachers that you have completed the work, but we suggest you print them out on a regular basis to see your progress and development!
Do I get tested?
Many of our modules are available in what we refer to as exercise or test ‘modes’. Whilst our exercises are tests in themselves, you can re-do these exercises to improve your scores. When you attempt one of our tests you will have to wait a short while before re-testing yourself while our system updates.
Remember that all the tests have certificates that may be printed out so you can commemorate and show your achievements.
Can my family use it as well?
Yes, we provide single memberships and family memberships. A person with a family membership may add up to three other members of their family – or friends – to the membership.
We encourage both family members or school friends (or groups) to take advantage of our family membership. We also have school accounts!
Could I use it at school?
The LinguaVille System is a superb teacher’s aid within the National Curriculum and Key Stages. Designed with a Teacher’s Dashboard to enable the teacher to monitor a student’s progress, LinguaVille also comes complete with our Authoring Tool so teachers can write their own bespoke, live questions. LinguaVille can show students’ progress to any teacher.

Is LinguaVille intended for Home Users or Schools?
It's for both, actually, or whoever you would like it to be for! From pre-school flash-cards to language learning beyond college level, LinguaVille is both a stand-alone system in itself, and a superb Home School, School or even Business resource.
Backed up by results, scores and progress charts, development can be measured by yourself, your teacher or your boss. LinguaVille is a thoroughly dedicated product to the National Curriculum which will therefore ensure correct and thorough language learning and development.
Will it help me with revision?
Yes! Our exercises enable you to keep tackling any exercise you have until you ‘have it’, but then we’ll test you on it to ensure you really do. We want you to succeed.
Will it help me with my pronunciation?
It is one of LinguaVille’s leading strengths that all of our sound files are recorded by mother-tongue speakers of your chosen language. This is the only way to ensure correct pronunciation.
Will it help me with my spelling? Not just your spelling – but your grammar too! Our exercise and test modes allow you to practice and to keep checking your spelling against our original texts. Because we set tasks for you to write exactly as we have written – you’ll be picking up grammar naturally as you go along from question to question, module to module.
Spelling and grammar are essential in after-education activities and work – so let’s teach you correctly from the start – the LinguaVille way!
