LinguaVille Curriculum

LinguaVille is true language learning, development, revision and study aligned with the National Curricula from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, India and the K-12 syllabi used across the USA.

Our focus on National Curriculum Key Stages ensures that the exercises within LinguaVille result in structured development. You progress at a steady pace, and with it being an on-line course, this pace can be tailored to suit your learning requirements and availability, giving you the ability to learn at your own speed.

LinguaVille immerses the learner through a range of activities encouraged within the National Curriculum syllabi, where the learning process is unravelled into easier sections to encourage language learning:

Multiple Choice: Comprehension and vocabulary development.

Word Order: Sentence structure. Correct placement and categorising.

Fill in Words: Comprehension. Recognitive skills.

Cloze Procedure: Comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary development. Understanding a line of text and typing in the correct answer.

Verbs: Learning the tenses of popular verbs used in everyday conversation.

Text Adventure: Comprehension and understanding of large pieces of text and progression to logical thoughts and conclusions.

Dictation: Listening Skills. Comprehension and Punctuation.

Phrases: LinguaVille’s phrases are divided into sections for ease of use, and then into further categories to develop conversational skills in real life situations.

Dictionaries: We provide two dictionaries; a beginners dictionary accompanied by pictures to develop language learning skills and our ‘main’ dictionary of 20,000 words, with additional verbs. These dictionaries are then used within our ‘playground’ where we have a selection of word games.

Word Games: Parts of the Body, Clothes, Word-Search, Anagrams, Beat the Clock, Let-r-Link and Matching that all build on vocabulary and recognitive skills.
